Today I got to attend my 3rd WordCamp Philly event. This year was hosted at the University of Sciences and it turned out to be a very nice facility.
I love the diversity in our Philly WP community and there is always interesting people to meet and talk to. The sessions always give me something new to learn and take away to dig in deeper around. This year I attended sessions on:
- Taking WordPress Outside of WordPress
- Moonlighting with WordPress
- A Need for Speed: Performance Driven Front End Development
- Getting Started with Sass
- How We Keep Development Cool, Calm, and Collected
- Integrating WordPress with External APIs
- Getting Comfortable with WordPress Actions and Filters
It was also great to see a novice track added to help those just getting started with WordPress.
Looking forward to keeping the momentum going by kicking off the WordPress Meetup for New Castle County, Delaware later this summer. Stay tuned!
