This year we started what I hope will be a new family tradition (and a nice treat) – a New Year’s Eve family brunch. While this winter has been bitter cold so far, this one was worth a venture to the Northern Liberties area of Philadelphia and a the cold 2 block walk from the car.
My wife had found this great vegan-friendly spot, Front Street Cafe, which we first tried last summer and loved so much we wanted to go back with the kids. We followed up on that idea while they were home for winter break and we were not disappointed. As you can see from my daugher’s plate on the left, they had a very interesting french toast!
